Sabrina Rodriguez

Hello, my name is Sabrina, and I am a licensed social worker practicing out of Santa Fe, NM. I am a Mexican American bilingual therapist born and raised in Santa Fe, NM and have lived here my whole life! I focus primarily on multicultural issues, parenting, major life transitions, anxiety, and negative relationships. I have worked in a variety of areas of New Mexico, including Santa Fe, Albuquerque, and the Rio Arriba area providing support to families. I received training at the Sky Center, a suicide intervention program in Santa Fe, who supports families with youth who are struggling with suicidal ideation and depression. I have experience in Multisystemic Therapy and have been practicing it for the past 4 years. I am passionate about working with parents in navigating the difficulties they are faced with throughout their children’s lives. I ground much of my work in the therapeutic approach of family systems, and cognitive behavioral therapy while providing trauma informed care when working with any age group. Having personal experiences of what it is like being a Latina I am proud to be able to bring personal insight, and cultural experiences that can help me better understand the challenges families are facing in this complex world. My goal with client’s is to instill hope, hope that together we can find a solution to things and the opportunity to make a change in our lives.
